Since May the tour has been departing on Thursday and Sunday each week and is proving to be a resounding success, offering an epic three day Top End adventure under the crucial $400 mark.

The Top End Triangle, or TET, hits big name spots including Ubirr, Nourlangie, Gunlom Falls, Buley Rockholes and Florence Falls. The optional Guluyambi Cultural Cruise gives guests the opportunity to interact with the indigenous people of Arnhem Land, with a spear throwing demonstration and an insight into the rock art, painting techniques and natural spices used in the area.

Jump Tours Managing Director Greg Price said that the expansion made sense due to the opposite peak season in the Top End. „May to November is the quietest time of the year in Tasmania, but that’s when it’s all happening up in the tropics. Our guides are loving the opportunity to work six months in Tasmania and six months in Darwin without having to find a new gig.”

Customers are enjoying the opportunity to see Kakadu and Litchfield for under $400. „It’s sharp pricing, designed to make the Top End more affordable for backpackers, just as we’ve done in Tassie since 2007. Food is included in the tour price and although it’s a camping tour, one of our campgrounds has a pool and a bar, and everywhere we stay has hot showers, so it’s not exactly roughing it, ” said Greg. „There’s no shortcuts either – our Top End tours are run with the same fun loving attitude and attention to detail that’s won us so many awards in Tasmania.”
