Chris Harrison
Editor of The Byte and he writes many of the articles. Chris spends most of his time marketing and writing for The Word and The Byte. Both are media and publishing brands in the youth & adventure tourism sector. Chris joined The Word in 2008 after tenures working with tour operators, accommodation providers and destination marketing offices in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. This experience is complimented by two degrees in tourism. The first he completed as its valedictorian and the second as an international student. Prior he backpacked Australia, the US, Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. He still stays in hostels, although its been a while since he slept in a 16-bed dorm. He has also group toured, FIT travelled, campervanned, hitch-hiked and cruised. He now splits his spare time between his growing family, some home DIY and playing competition golf badly.
